La collezione presentata Dolce & Gabbana per la stagione autunno inverno 2013-2014 sulle passerelle di Milano Moda Donna s'ispira all'arte bizantina e in particolare al Duomo di Monreale, situato appena fuori Palermo. In ogni capo c'è una chiarezza d'intenti che mostra un ritorno al sartoriale, al decoro, all'artigianalità. Il mosaico è fil rouge di tutta la linea e diventa quindi sinonimo di lusso, di quella esclusività che rende unico il lavoro in un concetto di "fatto a mano".

Gli abiti e le bluse sono lavorate e stampate come i mosaici e incrostate di pietre preziose, inoltre, l'immagine di Sant'Agata è riprodotta grazie a jacquard e pietre dure su abiti e top e accessori. Gli abiti di taglio ad A e a clessidra, di lunghezza midi, si alternano a tailleur tre pezzi e a mini dress rossi tempestati di Swarovski e jais. La palette di colori spazia dagli immancabili bianco e nero fino al tabacco, blu Klein, viola, blu notte, grigio antracite, azzurro turchese.
Non mancano gli accessori che completano gli outfit con grandi borse in filigrana e scarpe con il tacco che rappresenta una scultura, a sottolineare come la moda di Dolce & Gabbana sia fedele alla loro terra d'origine, (la Sicilia appunto) ma soprattutto, sia ricca di riferimenti che spaziano tra l'arte, l'arte sacra e la sartoria.
